Hi! We’re the Watt’s (well soon to be!)
We own the Geelong Baby & Children’s market alongside our 2 year old son Oscar.
The Geelong Baby & Children’s market was started in 2007 after 2 mums of multiples had baby clothes and toys that were too good to give away and there was no where available to sell them.
Over the last 12 years the market has expanded to over 70 stalls and runs once a quarter- February, May, August & November. The market consists of half business (new) stalls and half pre loved/ second hand stalls along with some kids entertainment, food vans and an ATM for those times you find extra bargains!
I was first introduced to the market in 2018 when I was pregnant with my son. I found plenty of bargains every market and was always first in line waiting to get in, so when the opportunity came to purchase the market I couldn’t say no.
Since we purchased the market in July 2019 we have made some huge changes and will continue to make the market bigger and better for everyone!
We encourage recycling and getting the most out of those baby items that get barely used or have plenty of wear left in them. We also support local charities with left over items.
